We have made prints as large as 20 x 30 inches without any pixilated artifacts. We have also made panoramic prints over 12 feet long as well from stitched outputs from the Coolpix cams.

We started many years ago with the Nikon Coolpix 900 and have since used the 950, 990, 995, 4500, 5000, 5700, D-1, D-1H, D-1x ,D100, and now  D-70 cameras. Each iteration of the Coolpix  as well as the D-SLRs has shown fantastic improvements going from a little over 1 million pixels to over 6 million pixels in the past 6 years. 

I have  published well over 2 thousand pictures in over 30 years as a professional photographer and I've exclusively used Nikon 35mm cameras and optics since the late sixties. My objectives for eliminating the need for film have been met by these incredible cameras as we generate 3-D object movies, and Virtual Reality panoramic images in the QTVR format as well as IPIX "Photobubbles" with the Coolpix cams every single day. Additionally, we easily output very large color light jet and Iris prints from these outputs.
