A look at HDR (High Dynamic Range) Photography


Once upon a time the issues regarding digital photography's ability to compete with conventional photographic film's dynamic range was relevant. Now with the advent of HDR , amazing results in extending the ability to capture phenomenal details within a scene's highlights, shadows and everything in between.


Here are a few of examples of my use of HDR

With no auxilliary lighting a series of exposures ranging many stops are brought together with HDR.


With only the singular light over the cat an HDR image reveals details on the walls highlights as well as details in the deepest shadowed areas under the table.
